Our low-profile tow straps are designed specifically for track use. While many aftermarket racing tow hooks protrude from the car, our tow strap stays tucked away when not in use. This makes our tow strap a safer and more aerodynamic alternative that reduces the chance of contact during close racing.

  • Rugged, chemical-resistant polyester strap

  • Lightweight CNC-machined stainless steel stud

  • Extended length for easy connection

  • Soft polyester webbing won't damage paint

  • Heavy-duty triple stitching

Racing Tow Straps Made in the USA

At Condor Speed Shop, we pride ourselves on sourcing the best materials here in the USA. American-made products are known for their high quality, innovation, and reliability, which is why our tow straps might be slightly more expensive than competitor options.

Our rugged, chemical-resistant polyester strap and heavy-duty stitching are designed to withstand the forces generated by a tow truck pulling a car out of the gravel pit.. Each strap features a CNC-machined stainless steel stud, ensuring durability and strength when you need it most. The quality and craftsmanship that go into each strap make them a dependable choice for your race car. When you choose Condor, you're choosing superior performance and reliability.

How to Install Condor Low Profile Tow Strap

How to Install Condor Low Profile Tow Strap

Installing our Condor Low Profile Tow Strap is straightforward:

  1. Locate Mounting Point: Most BMW models have a removable cover on the front and rear bumpers. This cover conceals the tow hook mounting threads and is usually located on one side of the bumper.
  2. Remove Tow Hook Cover: Use a flathead screwdriver or a plastic trim removal tool to carefully pry off the tow hook cover. Be gentle to avoid damaging the paint or the cover itself.
  3. Attach: Align threads and screw our tow strap into the mounting point. If this is not easily done, read the “modifications” section below for more information on how to adjust for a better fit.
  4. Stow: When not in use, our low profile tow strap can be easily tucked out of the way!
  5. Use as Needed: The tow truck or flatbed will take their recovery rope or winch and hook it around the tow loop on our strap, allowing them to pull the car onto the flatbed with ease.

Modifications: You may need to modify the bumper cover for a better fit. This is because the fitment of the stainless steel stud may be tighter against the plastic bumper on some models. This may require removing the bumper cover and trimming the bumper.
