Rear Trailing Arm Pocket Reinforcement Plates V2 - E36
On the E36 chassis, the rear trailing arm pockets are common stress points, especially on higher power builds with sticky tires and extended track use. Under load, these factory sheet-metal pockets can deform or crack, leading to bushings moving out of alignment and unpredictable rear suspension behavior.
Our Rear Trailing Arm Pocket Reinforcement Plates strengthen these areas by tying the trailing arm pocket into additional structure, distributing load over a larger surface, and helping to maintain suspension geometry through high lateral loads. The V2 design improves coverage and fit compared to earlier plates.
Precision cut from .125" (1/8") steel, these plates are intended to be welded in for maximum structural integrity. They are a smart addition for anyone upgrading rear suspension components, running high spring rates, or preparing a car for repeated track use.
