E30 M52TU, M54, S54 Swap Wiring Harness Adapter
If you're swapping an M52TU, M54, or S54 engine into your BMW E30, this plug-and-play harness adapter connects your engine harness to the chassis wiring with no cutting or splicing required.

Additional Vehicle Speed Signal (VSS) wiring instructions are included for 1982-1987 E30 chassis. S54 harness adapters are prewired for the U.S. fuel pump relay (timed EKP module) unless specified otherwise. Sensors are not included.

M52TU and M54 harness adapters are not interchangeable.

Important
- 1982-1987 E30 chassis require additional VSS wiring. Instructions are included with the harness adapter.
- Most MS42, MS43, and MSS54 DMEs are equipped with EWS (electronic immobilizer). EWS must be addressed before the engine will start.
