Engine Mount Set - Fits M42, E30 - SND

These solid UHMW engine mounts are made specifically for BMW's dual overhead cam 4 cylinder, the M42. Under hard braking the stock mounts allow the M42 to lean forward. These solid UHMW replacement mounts stiffen the engine and drivetrain, dramatically changing the throttle response of your E30. Our engine mounts are a direct replacement for OEM rubber motor mounts. You will feel a bit more NVH compared to the soft rubber mounts.

UHMW is an excellent general-purpose plastic with a unique combination of wear and corrosion resistance, low friction surface and impact strength. It is resistant to chemical attack and moisture absorption and retains key physical properties to -30 C.
