Complete Chassis Reinforcement Plate Combo / E36

The E36 chassis has multiple known stress points front to rear that can fatigue or crack as grip, power, and suspension loads increase. Front subframe engine mount areas, ball joint mounting points, rear subframe mounts, shock towers, trailing arm pockets, and rear sway bar mounts all see repeated load—especially on cars driven hard on the street or track.

We curated this Complete Chassis Reinforcement Plate Combo to make it easy to reinforce every major structural load point on the E36 in one install, without piecing together multiple kits or guessing what’s required. This combo builds on the rear chassis reinforcement system by adding front subframe ball joint and engine mount reinforcements, creating a true front-to-rear solution.

At the front, the plates reinforce the engine mount and ball joint mounting areas on the front subframe carrier—common failure points that can crack or deform under increased load. The ball joint reinforcement plates are intentionally cut from .074" steel, providing reinforcement without interfering with ball joint fitment or geometry. At the rear, the kit reinforces the subframe mounting points on the chassis, rear shock towers, trailing arm pockets, and rear sway bar mounts. Together, the plates spread load into stronger sections of the chassis and help prevent cracks from forming or progressing.

All other reinforcement plates in the kit are precision cut from 1/8" (0.125") steel and are intended to be welded directly into the chassis or subframe, becoming part of the structure rather than surface patches. Professional installation is recommended.
