Reinforcement Plates, Front Subframe & Engine Mount - E36
The E36 front subframe and engine mount areas are known weak points, especially on cars running stiffer engine mounts, and seeing regular track use. Over time, the added load and vibration can fatigue the factory sheet metal, leading to cracking around the engine mount pockets and subframe mounting points.
Our Front Subframe & Engine Mount Reinforcement Plates are designed to strengthen these high-stress areas, helping spread load over a larger surface and reduce the chance of long-term damage. They’re a smart preventative upgrade while the subframe is out—or anytime you’re building an E36 to be driven harder than stock.
Our reinforcement plates are precision cut from 1/8" steel for consistent fit and strength. Installation requires welding to properly tie the plates into the factory structure.
