Reinforcement Plates, Rear Subframe - E30

If you’ve upgraded your E30 drivetrain with an engine swap, turbocharger, or increased torque output, the factory rear subframe can become a weak link—particularly at the differential mounting points. Added power and shock loads place significantly more stress on these areas than the chassis was originally designed to handle.

Our Rear Subframe Reinforcement Plates are designed to address this issue by strengthening the differential mounting points on the rear subframe. By reinforcing these high-load areas, the plates help distribute drivetrain forces more effectively and reduce the risk of cracking or deformation over time.

Precision cut from .120" steel, these plates are intended to be welded in and integrated into the rear subframe. They are a smart upgrade for engine-swapped or turbocharged E30s, as well as a strong preventative measure for any car seeing hard use.
