Reinforcement Plates, Rear Sway Bar - E36
Upgrading to a larger rear sway bar on an E36 places significantly more load on the factory sway bar mounts. Over time, that added stress can fatigue the thin sheet metal at the subframe mounting points, leading to cracking or failure—especially on cars with stiffer suspension that see regular track use.
Our Rear Sway Bar Reinforcement Plates are designed to strengthen these mounting areas and distribute sway bar loads into a larger section of the subframe. Rather than relying on the factory mounts alone, the plates add structure where the E36 needs it most when running upgraded rear bars.
Precision cut from .119" steel, these plates are intended to be welded in and integrated into the subframe for long-term durability.
