Upgrading your engine and transmission mounts is one of the most effective ways to improve throttle response in your BMW E30. OEM rubber mounts compress and deteriorate over time, causing mushy throttle response and excessive drivetrain movement.
Condor offers E30 mounts in three material options to suit your goals:
Pairing your engine and transmission mounts ensures even drivetrain support and maximizes performance gains.
Old rubber suspension bushings are a major cause of poor handling and misalignment in E30s. Condor’s solid UHMW bushings offer the perfect blend of stiffness and durability, improving precision while maintaining consistent geometry over time.
We offer a full range of E30 bushing upgrades:
In addition to suspension, mounts, and bushings, we offer a wide range of parts to complete your BMW E30 build. Whether you’re replacing worn-out OEM components or prepping for competition, we’ve got you covered:
Each product is designed for performance, durability, and perfect fitment on your E30.
Condor Speed Shop parts are designed by enthusiasts who live and breathe BMW performance. We manufacture all of our BMW parts in the USA using top-grade materials. From engine mounts to chassis reinforcements to suspension components, every part is engineered to outperform the competition in strength, reliability, and performance.
We test our products on and off the track—so whether you're driving daily or chasing podiums, you can count on a proper fit and long-term performance. Every part we sell is backed by a lifetime warranty. That’s our commitment to E30 owners who demand more.
Will Condor suspension bushings increase noise or vibration compared to stock parts?
Most NVH comes from drivetrain upgrades, not control arm bushings, rear subframe bushings, or rear trailing arm bushings. Our suspension bushings are made from UHMW to maintain an excellent balance of driveability and performance.
Do I need to grease Condor bushings during installation?
No. UHMW is self-lubricating and never requires grease. It won’t squeak or wear out under stress.
Why are my new engine mounts a few mm taller than my stock ones?
Over time, stock rubber mounts compress. Your new Condor mounts match the OEM height when new, restoring proper engine alignment and drivetrain geometry.
Can I upgrade just my transmission mounts?
We recommend upgrading both engine and transmission mounts together to avoid drivetrain imbalance and undue stress on mounting tabs.
What’s the benefit of Offset vs Centered Control Arm Bushings?
Offset CABs add caster, improving straight-line stability and steering return. Centered CABs maintain factory geometry and are best for street-driven cars unless increased caster is specifically needed.
