Street & Track Ready Upgrades from Condor

  • Performance-Driven Suspension Mods: Improve your BMW E36’s handling with suspension parts engineered for spirited driving. Whether you’re hitting apexes on the track or dialing in your street setup, our performance upgrades deliver sharper steering, reduced suspension flex, and better overall feedback. From control arms to rear subframe bushings, every component is designed to improve chassis balance and stability.
  • Address Common Weak Points: The E36 has its share of weak zones, especially in the rear of the chassis, where cracking is common within the rear subframe and rear trailing arm mounting points. Our weld-in reinforcements are designed for improved reliability on the street or track.
  • Reduce Flex & Improve Handling: Reduce chassis flex with our rear strut bar and increase rigidity where it matters most. With Condor’s E36 chassis upgrades, you’ll experience improved steering feedback, more predictable handling, and confidence in every turn.
  • Improved Driving Experience: Whether you’re building a race car, maintaining a street car, or rebuilding a parts car, our performance upgrades help you dial in your E36 for the street or the track.
Engine and Transmission Mounts for E36

Engine and Transmission Mounts for E36

One of the best ways to improve throttle response in your E36 is to upgrade the engine and transmission mounts. Worn-out rubber mounts allow excessive movement, dull acceleration, and cause sloppy gear changes. Condor mounts eliminate flex and give your BMW a more connected feel on the street and the track.

We offer mounts in three material types to fit your build:

  • VIP (Polyurethane): A great street option—firmer than stock without sacrificing comfort.
  • UHMW: Perfect for dual-use cars, offering durability and sharper performance on both street and track.
  • Armageddon (Solid Aluminum): For extreme builds where zero drivetrain flex is the goal, ideal for racing or high horsepower setups.

Pairing engine and transmission mounts ensures equal support and delivers the most consistent result from your drivetrain upgrades.

Upgrade Your BMW E36's Suspension Bushings

Old rubber bushings are a major source of vague handling and alignment drift. Swapping them for Condor’s heavy-duty, solid UHMW bushings dramatically improves steering feedback, reliability, and alignment retention—especially under spirited or track driving.

Our E36 bushing lineup includes:

  • Control Arm Bushings: Choose between centered and offset for added caster, or our track-specific trackcab eyeball arm mounts.
  • Rear Trailing Arm Bushings: Available in standard, toe-correcting, or monoball versions depending on your setup.
  • Subframe Bushings: Offered in both UHMW and heavy duty aluminum versions for different types of builds.
  • Differential Bushings: Designed to maximize power delivery and eliminate differential movement.

FAQs

What is the hardness rating of Condor’s UHMW bushings?

Our UHMW bushings are rated at Shore D 68—perfect for reducing flex while still absorbing minor vibration.

**Hardness Scale goes here**

Do Condor UHMW bushings need lubrication during installation?

Nope. UHMW is a self-lubricating material, meaning it won’t squeak or require grease over time.

Will upgrading to Condor bushings increase vibration or noise?

You may notice a slight increase in NVH when replacing drivetrain mounts, but suspension bushings like rear subframe or control arm bushings typically add little to no additional vibration. Most users find the improved handling is well worth it.

Why do my new engine mounts sit taller than the old ones?

Over time, OEM rubber mounts compress. Our mounts are the same height as factory ones, maintaining proper driveline geometry and improving responsiveness.

Can I upgrade only the transmission mounts on my BMW E36?

We recommend upgrading both engine and transmission mounts together. Mixing soft engine and stiffer transmission mounts can strain mounting brackets and reduce performance gains.
